Originally from seaside part of Croatia, Dalmatia, born in Split. I am living in Samobor since 1998 with my wife, kids, animals and trees. Hired in 2006 by MySQL to work on connectors, ended MySQL career working with (and learning from) Mikael Ronstrom on performance issues. Currently unemployed.
Studied electronic engineering but spent most of my life programming just about everything; from POS systems to custom electronics. Does not really matter what the focus of my work is as long as it's interesting and challenging.
Interests: Math, theoretical physics, old Greek philosophy, history in general, programming.
